Exactly what I said to my wife. I thought it was weird that our heroes took the box truck back into the city. Crummy mission vehicle. But, using it to set up a perfect weapon for Merle’s revenge? Spot on. Makes sense… No way that large a cluster blows through that camp that far up. They’re setting Merle up to be our big baddy. No small coincidence that he had to cut off his own right hand… and Rick is sort of to blame. Echoes of future suffering for Grimes, directly from the books. Holds true to Kirkman’s promise that we’ll still get to the same places, but not the way we expect. Makes it fun to watch, even having read the series.

I thought for sure that Merle was going into the tent to kill WifeBeater but the shadow had long lady-like hair. Merle is a bald badass redneck so why not use a similar statured zombie to achieve the full bait-switch effect? Admittedly a small complaint for a stellar episode though…

When type cast gang banger showed up, I told my wife, “He played a gangbanger in Training Day & Fast & The Furious” … Im looking forward to the crew finding a safer place. How they hell did they think they could be soo close to the city & be safe all the time? My favorite zombie was in Atlanta. The first zombie in the building, with I dont know what coming out of her mouth.
