Episode: "Till We Meet Again." The finale is coming up like a random drug test on a supermarket employee and there’s still quite a bit to be resolved. But now, the tunnel is gone and the shit is about to hit the fan. And this is Mexican shit. Anyone who has ever spent a weekend in a Tijuana bathroom knows that’s no joke.
After ratting out her boy Guillermo to the feds, Nancy tries to make sure that her people aren’t going to get dragged into the bust. She spends a lot of time hanging out with Esteban, but has to put things on hold after the tunnel gets busted. It must suck having your main form of transportation be a filthy tunnel. Otherwise, Nancy pretty much got off the hook for this episode, probably a little breather before the absolute shitstorm that promises to happen on next week’s finale.
Shane and Silas:
Shane asks Silas for some dope to impress his slutty goth friends, but since Silas doesn’t want to deal to his misguided sibling, the little bastard has to steal the weed. Other than that, they don’t really do anything. It’s a shame, because I was hoping the cheese MILF would get some more screen time this week.
Andy and Doug:
Predictably, Andy bones Maria and feels bad about it. He feels so bad that he tells Doug all about it. Doug pretends to take it well, but calls immigration on her ass. It’s a dick move, but she had it coming. Now Andy and Doug are free to take on all sorts of other wacky adventures. I say good riddance.
Hey, look at that. Celia’s acting like a huge bitch again. Who could’ve seen that coming. I really hope her character dies of an overdose on the season finale. If it was my birthday, that would be my wish when I blew out the candles. Well, that and a sweet-ass dirtbike.
The DEA takes the tunnel and the whole thing turns into a gunfight. Guillermo get taken to the pen and everything seems like it’s going according to plan. But Esteban’s right hand captures captain Roy’s partner and sands his skin off until he gives up Nancy’s name. That means next week I guess we’ll find out if Nancy’s loving is sweet enough to overshadow her epic betrayal. A betrayal that might not have even been warranted since Esteban promised her that there would be no more girls coming through the tunnel. He also told Nancy that he is in love with her, but that’s chick stuff.
The promos say that even if we think we know what’s going to happen, we don’t. Well, the joke’s on you Showtime, because I have no idea what’s going to happen. If I had to guess, I would say Esteban confronts her about it and says "get out, I never want to see you again." Oh, and Shane will still be creepy as hell.
