The “Leverage” cast is made up of both new and familiar faces. “Leverage” is a drama series that premiered on the TNT cable network late in 2008. It’s a show about a team of thieves and con artists who use their skills to right wrongs and help people. And the “Leverage” cast seems to enjoy their roles.
Hutton stars as Nate Ford, the team leader and mastermind. Hutton is an award-winning actor who has had a long and successful career on the big and small screen. And he was the youngest person ever to win the Best Supporting Actor Academy Award (for his role in “Ordinary People”).
This New Zealand native stars as Sophie Devereaux, the team’s grifter. Bellman got her start in a series called, “Into the Labyrinth,” a British TV series for children. Since then she has appeared in several movies and TV series, both in Britain and in the US.
Kane plays Eliot Spencer, the team “hitter.” Kane has appeared in many movies and TV shows, including a role on “Angel” as Lindsey MacDonald, a lawyer who was sometimes evil, sometimes not. Kane is also interested in music, and has toured and released albums as a member of the Southern rock band known simply as Kane.
Hodge plays Alec Hardison, the team hacker and computer specialist. Hodge got his big break in the film “Die Hard with a Vengeance,” and has made many movie appearance since. Before and after joining the “Leverage” cast, he has made guest appearances on several TV shows, including “Supernatural,” “CSI: Crime Scene Investigation,” and “Castle.”
Riesgraf stars as Parker, the team’s thief. Riesgraf has appeared in several films, including “Alvin and the Chipmunks.” She’s also guest starred on shows like “My Name Is Earl,” and “NCIS.”
