Secret Life of an American Teenager cast

The "Secret Life Of The American Teenager" cast is full of young actors who are just starting out their careers. The television show revolves around the lives of high school students, so the parts were cast with young actors. A lot of the actors had little on screen experience prior to joining the "Secret Life Of The American Teenager" cast, but they all do an amazing job in their roles. The big cast is rounded out with the grown-ups played by notable actors.

Shailene Woodley.

This "Secret Life Of The American Teenager" cast member portrays main character Amy Juergens. Woodley was born in 1991, and has primarily acted in small guest roles on television shows. The most notable being Kaitlin Cooper in six episodes of "The O.C." Her first movie role is in the 2011 film "The Descendants."

Daren Kagasoff.

Prior to becoming a cast member on "Secret Life Of The American Teenager," Daren Kagasoff had no formal acting experience. His first on-screen role is portraying bad boy and teenage father Ricky Underwood. For his role as Ricky, Kagasoff won a Teen Choice Award for Choice Summer TV Star Male. Born in 1987, Kagasoff has yet to branch away and star in anything other than "Secret Life Of The American Teenager."

Ken Baumann.

Born in 1989, he portrays high school student Ben Boykewich on the television show "Secret Life Of The American Teenager." His acting career started with roles in the television movies, "Don't Ask," "The Other Mall," and "Sixty Minute Man." Since becoming a "Secret Life Of The American Teenager" cast member he has been featured in three episodes of the hit television series "Castle." 

Megan Park.

This "Secret Life Of The American Teenager" cast member plays series regular Grace Bowman. Born in 1986, her career started with the made for television movies "This Time Around," and "She's Too Young." In 2010 she starred in another made for television movie titled "The Perfect Teacher." She has only been in a handful of movies which includes, "Diary of the Dead," "Charlie Bartlett," and "Guns, Girls and Gambling."

Francia Raisa.

Before starring as Adrian Lee in the television series "Secret Life Of The American Teenager," Raisa played Alex Delgado in "The Cutting Edge 3: Chasing the Dream." She first gained noteriety by starring in the direct to video movie "Bring It On: All or Nothing." In 2009 she landed a guest role on the television series "In Plain Sight." In 2010 she reprised her role as Alex Delgado for the television movie "The Cutting Edge: Fire & Ice."

Molly Ringwald.

Her career took off when she starred on the popular television show "The Facts of Life." In the mid 1980s she was part of the Brat Pack, which was a group of young actors who commonly starred together in comedic-dramas. Those films included, "Pretty in Pink," "The Breakfast Club," and "Sixteen Candles." More recently she starred in the made for television movies, "Twice Upon a Time," "Since You've Been Gone," and "The Wives He Forgot." Currently, she plays Anne Juergens on "Secret Life of the American Teenager."

India Eisley.

	Born in 1993, Eisley is the youngest "Secret Life Of The American Teenager" cast member. In the series she plays the Juergens youngest daughter Ashley. Her only on screen acting experience prior to joining the show was a small role in the <a href='http://www.screenjunkies.com/tag/horror-movie-37/' class='linkify' target='_blank'>horror movie</a> "Headspace." In 2012 she will play Eva in the movie "Underworld 4: New Dawn." </p>

On "Secret Life Of The American Teenager" he plays the father George Juergens. His television experience is expansive and includes starring in 44 episodes of "Life with Bonnie," twelve episodes of the short lived show "Bonnie," and the soap opera "One Life to Live." In 2009 he was a cast member on the hit show "24" when his character Joe Stevens was featured in five episodes.
