"That 70's Show" cast was assembled by G. Charles Wright, for an amazingly well-written show set in the mid-70's in Wisconsin. The show aired on FOX from 1998-2006. Mark Brazill, Bonnie Turner and Terry Turner were the geniuses who created it. The show is centered around Eric Foreman, his family and best friends. Eric and his friends all hung around in Eric's basement, frequently getting high.

  1. Red and Kitty Foreman (Kurtwood Smith and Debra Jo Rupp) So many people recognized the mannerisms and mindsets of Eric's parents, it was amazing. Red had a temper, and Eric knew how to get to it. This earned him frequent tongue-lashings by Red. When it looked like he might be winding down, Kitty always chimed in "And we love you."

  2. Eric Foreman (Topher Grace) Eric was a quick-witted, funny kid that was always loyal to a fault. His heart belonged to Donna, the girl next door. He only appeared in the final episode of the seventh season, with the storyline saying he was a teacher in Africa.

  3. Donna Pinciotti (Laura Prepon) A beautiful redheaded tomboy, Eric thought he'd never have a chance at love with Donna. They weren't cut-out for a traditional relationship, though. Their engagement may have been short-lived, but they got their "happily ever after" in the final episode of the series.

  4. Steven Hyde (Danny Masterson) Eric's best friend, who you just know is going to be an activist if he can lay off the weed long enough. Everybody else calls him Hyde, but Kitty calls him Steven. He effectively becomes her foster son after his mom abandons him and Red lets him come stay with them in season one.

  5. Fez (Wilmer Valderrama) Turned out that wasn't his name. Fez was actually FES: Foreign Exchange Student. The show never said what country he was supposed to be from, originally. Fez was silly, funny, flirty and a bit strange but he never wavered in  his unrequited (until the final season) love for Jackie.

  6. Jackie Burkhart (Mila Kunis) Jackie was the quintessential irritating spoiled brat/pretty girl. Her level of willful ignorance regularly shocked, surprised and irritated Donna. As she grew and changed over the years, she and Donna become close friends. She and Michael were a couple for most of the series.

  7. Michael Kelso (Ashton Kutcher) Kelso was much-loved by Jackie, and he used that to his advantage. He treated her as more of a possession that he expected to revolve around hiim. Ashton Kutcher is one of the most visible actors of the "That 70's Show" cast in the years since the show's 2006 finale.

Additional characters who made regular appearances were Eric's sister, Laurie (first played by Lisa Robin Kelly, then by Christina Moore). The original actress was very popular, but had a drug problem that wound up costing her her spot in the "That 70's Show" cast. The show chose to recast rather than dropping the character completely. Bob and Midge Pinciotti (Don Stark and Tonya Roberts) were Donna's parents. Their marriage ended for a time and Tonya was off the show, but she made guest appearances. Brook Shields was hilarious in her rare appearances as Jackie's mom.
