From 1998 to 2007, the "King of Queens" cast ruled CBS Monday night's lineup. Set in Rego Park, Queens, New York, the show was basically about a funny man with a gorgeous wife, living with her father. Here are the stars.

  1. Doug Heffernan (Kevin James) Doug is a delivery man who sort of never really grew up completely. He loves his wife to distraction, but that doesn't stop them from having their share of spats. Her father, Arthur, moved into their basement at the start of season one, after burning his own home down.

  2. Carrie Heffernan (Leah Remini) Carrie is sharp-tongued and sarcastic. It's obvious that she sees arguing with Doug as being comparable to nailing Jello to the wall, but she never backs down from a heated discussion. She works as a legal secretary.

  3. Arthur Spooner (Jerry Stiller) Carrie's dad is such a handful that they actually hire a dog walker to keep him out of trouble while they are at work. Arthur has a tendency to rewrite history as he recounts it. They all know it, but nobody can get him to admit it. Jerry Stiller is an amazing comic talent and a true blessing to the "King of Queens" cast.

  4. Deacon Palmer (Victor Williams) Doug's best friend in the cast is tall, athletic, and pretty much the exact opposite of Doug. He's a family man, married with two children. He always seems to find time to hang out with Doug.

  5. Spence Olchin (Patton Oswalt) Spence is the nerd of the three cast mates. He's into everything the other three are not, i.e. gaming, fantasy writing, science fiction and comic cons.

The "King of Queens" cast made their work appear effortless. Of course the writing was spectacular, but the words are nothing if the talent isn't there to deliver them.
