Absolutely Funny 30 Rock Quotes

Friday, October 7 by Irving Oala

As there have now been five seasons of the hit NBC comedy "30 Rock", there are a number of different hilarious "30 Rock" quotes, said by a wide variety of characters. The following "30 Rock" quotes are some of the funniest from the five different seasons of the show that will probably continue for at least a few more seasons. Meaning there will be many more like this.

Season 1, Episode 9: "Business doesn't get me down, business gets me off. Now what is your urgent problem this time." This quote from "30 Rock" is said by Jack, who is played brilliantly by Alec Baldwin. It's a great joke about businessmen who run major media corporations.

Season 1, Pilot Episode: "Oh yes, I love cats. I used to have two cats, but then we moved to this place with hardwood floors and we had to put them down… I'm kidding." This quote from the first ever episode of "30 Rock" is said by Jenna, who is establishing her odd and ditzy personality. You would expect a character like Jenna to own cats and kill them, in a way.

Season 2, Episode 1: "Jack, I was vacationing with my family in Europe in a country only rich people know about." This quote from the first episode of the second season of "30 Rock" is from comedian Jerry Seinfeld, who helped make NBC a place for great comedies. Just about everything Jerry Seinfeld says is funny though, which may not be a good thing.

Season 1, Episode 6: "Oh it's when a bunch of rats are crammed into a space and their tails get all tangled up and they can't even pull apart." This "30 Rock" quote is from the beginning of the first season when "30 Rock" was just getting going and it is said by Frank, establishing his hilariously weird personality. This type of humor is a running theme on "30 Rock."

Season 1, Episode 14: "No, I'm not trying to be nice I am nice. I'm a nice person, you bald, gangly… I'm gonna try harder. I'm gonna try to be nice." This hilarious "30 Rock" quote is from the middle of the first season and is said by Liz Lemon, who may be the perfect character for Tina Fey to ever play.
