The individuals who won "The Biggest Loser" 2010 take home a great honor that has been bestowed upon many contestants since the series' inception. There was no single winner of "The Biggest Loser" 2010, as there were two seasons that took place in this year. 2010 was an eventful year for "The Biggest Loser", as the tenth season featured the first High Definition broadcast. "The Biggest Loser" continued to rake in amazing ratings in the United States and the rest of the Western world during the 2010 seasons.

The first series of the year was "The Biggest Loser: Couples 3". The ninth season of "The Biggest Loser" took place from January 5, 2010 to May 25, 2010. It was cut in half by the 2010 Winter Olympics during February, which NBC featured. The contestants of "The Biggest Loser" season 9 ("Couples 3") were paired into couples depending on their relationships and given initial weigh-ins. The twin brothers James and John broke the team weigh-in record with 969 pounds.

The winner of "The Biggest Loser: Couples 3" was Michael Ventrella. Michael was the first-ever contestant on "The Biggest Loser" to weigh-in at over 500 pounds. He lost an amazing 34 pounds during the first week, another record he busted throughout his stay on the show. Ventrella lost 264 pounds through the series and over half of his initial body weight.

The second series of the year was "The Biggest Loser: Pay It Forward". This season of "The Biggest Loser" lasted from September 21, 2010 to December 14, 2010. It had 21 hopeful contestants, all of which weighed well over 200 pounds each. Aaron, the biggest and tallest of the cast, weighed-in at 468 pounds and a BMI of 57. He was later eliminated during the seventh week of competition, but not after shrinking down to a decent 380 pounds and a BMI of 36.

The winner of "The Biggest Loser: Pay It Forward" was Patrick House. House originally was pegged with the green team, but was transferred to the black team during the "blue vs. black" switch. He lost an astounding 45.25% of his body weight, coming down from a hefty 400 to a cool 219. Patrick, a 28-year-old from Vicksburg, Mississippi, lost 181 total pounds.

"The Biggest Loser" 2010 winners were outstanding individuals who tackled their obesity head-on. While Michael broke records and stood out amongst his peers, Patrick showed incredible resilience each and every week on the show. "The Biggest Loser" 2010 contestants all lost a significant amount of weight and took home a greater sense of pride upon completion of the seasons.
