Biggest Loser Winner 2010

If you missed the 2010 season of  "The Biggest Loser," you may be wondering about the winner. The winner of last seasons "Biggest Loser" was a man by the name of Patrick House. He was 28 years old at the time of the contest, which had it's season finale air in December of 2010. The second place winner for 2010 was Frado Dinten.

Background The winner of 2010, Patrick House, is from Mississippi. He is the father to two boys, ages two and four years old. Shortly before going on "The Biggest Loser," Patrick had lost his job as a sales representative and was struggling financially. Guess that prize money came at a great time, huh?

Weight Loss Patrick House started on "The Biggest Loser" tipping the scales at 400 pounds even. By the time the show was finished filming and he had won, he had lost a total of 181 pounds. At the season finale, Patrick weighed in at just 219 pounds.

What he won In addition to the satisfaction of winning the competition and a new leaner and healthier body, Patrick walked away from "The Biggest Loser" with 250,000 dollars as a prize.

The Future On the season finale, Patrick talked about his future. He had been offered a job at a school in South Carolina working with overweight teens. He now plans to live a long and healthy life.

"The Biggest Loser" is a reality show in which contestants compete for prizes and money by achieving weight loss.
