Lucy was known for her zany antics and crazy physical acting, and these Lucille Ball quotes encompass all things Lucy. Lucille Ball was born in 1911 in Jamestown, New York. She acted in more than 110 roles in television shows and movies. Lucille Ball was best known for her role as Lucy Ricardo on the television show "I Love Lucy," which aired from 1951 to 1957. She played a housewife to band leader Ricky Ricardo, as played by her real life husband Desi Arnaz. Vivian Vance and Wiliam Frawley also starred as Fred and Ethel Mertz, the Ricardo's neighbors. Lucille Ball went on to star in numerous TV shows and movies after "I Love Lucy" ended. She had two children, Lucie Arnaz and Desi Arnaz, Jr., and died in 1989 in Beverly Hills, California.
