Cartoon Network Shows Not Just for Kids Anymore

If you have ever watched the Cartoon Network, then you probably know about the Cartoon Network shows. Ranging from the antics on Dexter and his sister in the popular “Dexter’s Laboratory” to the shenanigans of the titular cow and chicken in their show, these series continue to delight children of all ages.

“What’s New, Scooby Doo

If you liked the original series showing the adventures of the mystery-solving canine and his friends, then you will definitely enjoy this reboot of the series, which even features Casey Kasem as the voice of Shaggy (he was also the voice in the original). With catchy storylines and snappy dialog, this is a Cartoon Network show that is not to be missed.

“Cow and Chicken”

If you want to go back in time a bit, try out this Cartoon Network show that followed two siblings, a cow and a chicken, as they had some truly strange adventures. At times crude and always funny, this is a cartoon show that is amusing for both kids and adults.

“Dexter’s Laboratory”

This show, another great from the minds of Cartoon Network, was about a kid genius and his attempts to keep his nosy sister out of his laboratory. With its quirky humor and interesting animation, you will definitely want to give this show a try.

“Robot Chicken”

Cartoon Network has also begun to experiment with more adult-oriented shows, as can be seen in this classic example from their Adult Swim Lineup. Featuring the voice of Seth Green and several others, its wicked sense of humor and splendid sketches are sure to have you in stitches. (Be warned, this may not be appropriate for children).

“Squidbillies”

This Cartoon Network show, another staple of their Adult Swim lineup, follows the (often violent) misadventures of a group of hillbilly squid in the hills of northern Georgia. Irreverent, hopelessly violent, and very tongue-in-cheek, this is one show that will have you laughing all night long.
