By now you've probably heard the news that Steve Jobs is retiring from his position as the CEO of Apple. And there's a good chance you heard the news while using a product that Jobs himself helped develop.

No reason was given for his departure, but sadly, it is most likely the result of his ongoing battle with pancreatic cancer. And the fact that one of the richest, most powerful men in the world can't buy his way out of death is a real son of a bitch, at least in my opinion. But rather than sit around and contemplate the frailty of human life, I think our time would be better spent watching the following five Apple related technology videos, don't you? Good. Very good.

This famous Apple ad introduced the world to the Macintosh, and is widely considered one of the greatest marketing campaigns of all time. Ridley Scott directed the spot, which cost nearly $900,000, a ridiculous amount to spend by early 80's standards. If you don't get the 1984 references, or the Macintosh references, for that matter, chances are you need to pay more attention in History class.

David Lynch

While the cool kids seem to love all things "Mac," not everyone is a fan. As director David Lynch points out, this is especially true when it comes to watching movies.

The Human Centipad

Everyone knows that Apple products make it easier for people to share their "shit." This episode of South Park depicts Steve Jobs taking that idea to its logical conclusion.

Steve Jobs Demo Fail

Steve Jobs is known for being a perfectionist. So when this demo of a new version of the iPhone went south, I can only imagine that heads rolled. Look beyond his nervous smile and spot the seething rage.

The Original iPad

Mad TV IPAD - The funniest movie is here. Find it

Before the iPad was on the market, the writers at Madtv came up with their own versions, which was a lot funnier, but infinitely more disgusting.
