Bauer, fresh from a seizure, is getting pumped with drugs to get him back to normal. He barely manages to tell Agent Walker to get an APV out on Tony Almeida, and she puts one out. Cut to Almeida, who walks up to an FBI vehicle, shoots two guys in it, and steals the whip.Bauer returns to a bit of normalcy. "Tony was working with Galvez all along."--"Are you saying that Tony killed Larry?"--"...Yes." Bauer then goes into a self agonizing rant about how it was his fault all this happened. Almeida pulls up to an undisclosed motel. Knocks, and Galvez lets him in. Galvez hands over the canister for money. But as Almeida looks into the backpack with virus box, Galvez pulls a gun. "Who's the buyer?"--"You don't want to do this." Then Almeida chucks the bag at him. A fight ensues. Alemida manages a pretty awesome kick to Galvez's teeth. While Tony's sneaking around the base, he sees a truck pull in. He gets a call from Bauer telling him that the President has called off the air strikes for some reason, and that he's got to get out of there. Then Almeida takes a closer look at the truck, and sees that it's is a gas tanker holding would-be fuel for surface-to-air missiles. Bauer says he'll get in contact with the President.Madame President admits that Hodges is blackmailing her with the missiles. Bauer explains how Almeida can get inside the bunker and blow up the fuel tanks with C4 he's got in his utility bag. At first she is ardently reluctant. "How long did they give you to live?" she asks Bauer. "They don't know."--"Then there's not much I can do to stop you." She hangs up.Bauer takes that as a indirect order to go ahead with the plan to have Almeida go in, and so he transfers the order to Tony, who has the utmost confidence in himself that he can complete the mission and blow up the missiles and bio-weapons. It's midnight baby, and Moss, Almeida and their team of FBI agents are stuck in a sticky situation, cornered by Hodges and his goons. A truck pulls up and out steps Jonas himself, "I want you off my property." He starts yelling at them and denies any such bioweapon on the grounds of StarkWood. "You've got 5 minutes to get you and your helicopters out of here." Renee was on the other line listening to Hodges' rant, and she runs over to Bauer for some advice.He makes a call to Doug Knowles, a higher up employee of StarkWood that he knows might be willing to cooperate. He calls him up. "Things are out of control," says Knowles. He agrees too help them find the weapons might be."Lets show our guests the door," Hodges slimily says to his goon. Bauer gets on line with Larry Moss and tells him that they need to create a diversion so Tony can escape and find the true location of the weapon. Moss hangs up, walks over punches and punches a testy Seton, giving some time for Tony to escape while grabbing a utility bag from one the FBI agents. Bauer's been exposed. The CDC all dressed in their HAZMAT suits take Bauer, and tell him to get undressed. The scarred and naked Bauer gets sprayed down and scrubbed by the team while they take some tests.Meanwhile, Almeida and the bioweapon are dropped in StarkWood via helicopter. Jonas tells his bioweapon specialist to hurry up on getting the darn thing activated, 'cause the Feds "are going to be coming with all they got." He then walks inside where Almeida is getting interrogated. He asks him about what the FBI knows about the weapon. Almeida stays strong. Then his top aide tells him that they should probably dispose of the weapon before the Govvies come in and expose them for everything they got. "I think you're just trying to save your ass!" Jonas says.The CDC tells Bauer that he has an airborne virus, and he orders them to deliver him as evidence to FBI. More...

The cops are at Senator Blaine Mayer's house collecting evidence, but Moss doesn't need any evidence, he concludes that Bauer's the culprit. He calls up Ethan Kanin. "It's Sentor Mayer, he's dead.""What?!?!" Kanin replies. Kanin, flabbergasted at what has happened hangs up the phone and slumps in his chair.President Taylor calls up her husband, who is awake and seemingly doing alright. She tells him that Juma and Dubaku are dead, that everything's over, and that Olivia has joined the staff. The first man is relieved. They hang up.Kanin walks in. "He's expected to make a full recover! Maybe, just maybe this day will end on a positive note," says President Taylor.Yeah right.Kanin tells the President that Senator Mayer has been apparently slain by Bauer. President Taylor can't believe it. President Taylor is bleeding from the mouth after the swift slap from General Juma. Her daughter, crying, tells her how sorry she was for being a little brat. Juma's goons then drag away the President.Bauer whispers to Buchanan. Apparently there's an oxygen feed coming from the safe room, and if sparked, could blow away some Juma's men and give some time to get the President out."I'll read your statement," Taylor says, "but you have to release some hostages first." Juma surprisingly complies, takes one of the hostages, brings him to his feet and then caps him right in the head. Shit! Juma then demands the President do the statement. "The world is waiting Madame President."A live feed straight to internet, broadcasts Taylor's statement. Dubaku is still out cold in the hostipal. A laundry man gets past security, pulls out a syringe and injects Dubaku with a drug that makes start to convulse severely. Cut to a shot of General Juma who has a statement playing on a CNN-like channel, preaching his country's victory over the American invaders. "Find him, wherever he is," the President orders. "Whatever it takes, I want that sonuvabitch found!"Dubaku visits his girl Marika at her diner, and he reveals that he's an illegal who needs to get the hell out of dodge. He tells her that they have tickets ready to go, and that Marika's sister will join them in a few days. Dubaku asks, "say you'll come..."--"...I'll get my things."
