Though it’s not slated for release until November of 2012, they screened the first four and a half minutes of Wreck It Ralph at the D23 Expo this weekend, and reports are that it looks amazing. John C. Reilly voices Wreck It Ralph, an 8-bit video game bad guy who wants to change his ways. He’s tired of watching the good guy, Fix It Felix, receive all the accolades while he is booed and dismissed. He’s just doing his job. Finally, he sneaks out of his console and into other games around the arcade, hoping to find one where he can be good. The film features cameos from famous video game characters like Bowser from Super Mario Bros, Big Daddy from Bioshock, and Kano from Mortal Kombat.

Described as Toy Story with video games, it sounds like a lot of fun. Keep Michael Cera away from it and you’ve got a hit. (/Film)
