Halloween is here. That means it’s time to spend pain-staking amounts of effort to carve and sculpt loving homages to your favorite movie and television personalities into pumpkins. Then, once your work of art is perfected, lovingly place it on the front porch for the neighborhood kids to smash and ruin. While that might seem like a lot of hard work gone to waste, there’s something cathartic about watching a pumpkin with Oprah‘s picture carved into it getting smashed to oblivion.
