The greatest video you'll ever see while watching this video.

We thought that since you’ve been pretty good so far (but well short of “great”), you are entitled to a Christmas present from Screen Junkies. So here you go. It’s a video featuring a fairly half-assed construction of a gingerbread replica of the most famous cartoon house in the world, that of the Simpson family hailing from Springfield.

So watch this brief, vaguely interesting video of a crappy house being made.

PS – This is also your birthday gift this year. Don’t blame us. Blame Obama.

Thus fulfilling our weekly quota of 'AD' articles a day earlier. Nice!

Oh, the folly of man!

In 2007, two superfans decided to undertake a documentary project chronicling the short life of Fox’s Arrested Development for the sake of future generations. Little did they know that the public would clamor incessantly for the next five years until Netflix decided it would just be easier to give the baby its bottle and create some more episodes of the show.

Not ones to quit what they started, the duo of Neil and Jeff (no last names on their website) decided to continue because, hey, it’s not like collecting a bunch of hilarious interview footage on one of the most beloved shows is a waste of time. New epsiodes/movie or not, this thing serves its purpose!

Sons of Anarchy has been giving us some pretty neat clips recently that give us background simultaneously into the lives of the characters and the actors playing them through their “Before the Anarchy” webisodes.

This go-round, we get privy to the goings on of Tig, one of the more colorful characters in a cast that is riddled with colorful characters. So drop on by, say hello, and try not to get your skull cracked in by this dude. Actually, don’t even say hello. That might just piss him off more.

I demand a ditty entitled "Sheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeit!"

At this point, we’ll take whatever Wire-related content we can get. If that happens to be a Funny or Die spoof musical, so be it. The fact that it actually features the character Omar (Michael Kenneth Williams) is just the icing on the cake.

A few things readily apparent from this clip: Michael Kenneth Williams has a truly terrible singing voice. Just awful. And he can move his legs around Michael Flatley, Lord of the Dance style. After viewing this, we can all agree that The Wire would have finally gotten some critical acclaim if they’d shoehorned a lot more song and dance numbers into it. Just like they do on the streets of Baltimore.

Awkward, but that's the point.

Normally I dread doing interviews for press junkets. Why should I bother showing up to ask stupid questions that have already been asked a dozen times before, especially when bigger outlets are going to drown out anything interesting I might manage to glean. But when I was asked if I wanted to take part in an interview with Tim Heidecker and Eric Wareheim of Tim & Eric’s Billion Dollar Movie (in theaters March 2nd), I couldn’t pass up the chance. And it went about as I expected.

Right off the bat, the pair seemed bored with my questions (not that I blame them, especially considering I was the second-to-last interview of the day). So rather than continue out of common courtesy like a normal person would do, the pair launched into a bizarre improv scene for an audience of one (me) in which Eric acted like he had been spiked with magic mushrooms, Tim acted like nothing was wrong, and I was left to continue asking questions like the asshole I am.

On the one hand, it was extremely awkward and intimidating to have a giant like Eric Wareheim sitting doggie style on a chair staring at me with crazy eyes while his partner eyed me with contempt. But on the other hand, it turned out better than any interview I’ve ever attempted, and probably better than any interview I’ll ever attempt. So thanks, Tim and Eric.

And for anyone who actually cares about what was discussed:

Robert Loggia was already familiar with their work since he had been on Tom Goes To The Mayor.

David Liebe Hart is not homeless, but certainly has a “drifter quality.”

The pair had to make some tough choices about which Awesome Show! regulars to use, and they hope to use those who were left out in future projects.

There will never be a Tom Goes To The Mayor movie because they have no interest in it.

For the most part, their rabid fan base has been respectful of their privacy, and has not crossed any lines.

Tim has no idea who would win a shrimp eating contest between the two, and doesn’t care because it’s a stupid question (Thanks to the guys at Double Viking for suggesting that one).

HEEEEEEEE-HAWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!

Close, Mike. Very close. but a sneaky punch to the back of the head is actually a RABBIT punch. Rabbit. We were looking for “rabbit.” Tough break.

One look at that bespectacled man in the argyle sweater vest and it’s pretty clear that Mike never stops thinking about donkey punches. He subscribes to Donk Punch Quarterly, and he probably has one of those person-shaped punching bags in a face down position so that he can just donkey punch away all his frustrations.

This video would go from “video of the day” to “video of the year” if Alex Trebek walked over to Mike’s lectern, gave him a pound, blew it up, then as he was returning to his mark, gave Betsy a playful mock donkey punch, to which the audience responded in Arsenio Hall Show-fashion with uproarious “whoop whoop whoop”s.

This…is Jeopardy.

You heard me, "white stain"...

After six seasons of “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia,” you probably thought “the Gang” had reached the bottom of the barrel. But as the following clips demonstrate, season seven will see Mac, Dee, Dennis and Frank sink to filthy new lows.

A lot has been made of Mac’s 50-pound weight gain and Frank getting married to a prostitute. But up until now, I haven’t heard much about Dee’s gratuitous use of the term “white stain,” or Dennis’ fondness for bringing up “balls to the chin.” Well, these new clips shed some light on those subjects. You’re welcome.

Season seven begins Thursday, September 15th at 10:00 ET/PT on FX.

Beyond all the self-referential crap and winking to the audience, there might be a decent scary movie here.

The new Scream 4 TV spot does its job pretty well. I kind of want to see Scream 4. The stills (below) and video are beginning to convince me that beyond all the self-referential crap and winking to the audience, there might be a decent scary movie here. The movie feels fresh, and not just in the context of it being a fourth installment. And lots of teenagers get killed, which always makes me happy. They egged my house last Halloween.

I think this might be the bad guy.

Pensive Dewey.

Angry Dewey.

He JUST washed those!

This would be sexier if there was cocaine on that knife.

The team behind Sucker Punch has turned confusing audiences into an art.

I’m not even mad at Sucker Punch anymore. Now, I’m just impressed with how confusing they have been able to make their marketing campaign. It’s an art, really. Not content merely offering trailers that trigger epileptic seizures, the team has now moved on to animated shorts (3 min) that don’t offer a single word of dialogue or the slightest clue of what’s going on. There’s a guy in a mask. He gets shot by something resembling a steampunk ED-209 from Robocop.

The guy in the mask dies, and sexy girls walk toward the camera. If you claim to glean more than that from this clip, you’re a horrible liar, and you should be ashamed of yourself. (Coming Soon)
