You read that right: Comic books, previously only a subject of interest to fat virgins and their fat friends, are now apparently catching the eyes of Hollywood producers at Platinum Studios (Cowboys & Aliens) as well. The comic book (or “comic”) is called Vice, and here’s what it’s about:

“[T]he story of hard-core teen felons who join the FBI’s Critical Response Unit as a way to clear their records. Their bad attitudes and formidable powers make them as dangerous as the bad guys they pursue.”

Wow, that sounds almost like a premise that could pass muster on TV or in the pictures. We’ll see if this new “comic book movie” idea has any success – I hope so, because I can’t wait to see a movie version of The Family Circus. (via Deadline)
