Poor Loki. Not only is he locked away in the least ornate of Asgard’s prisons for eternity, but his bosses at the bank took his ideas and put them into practice without giving him a promotion. The bank saves money, and they are using him, and he is the fool.

Also, his adopted brother Thor wants to team up and be frenemies in order to save Jane Foster. It seems that Thor‘s bonehead idea of warping her to a dark, mystical battlefield has put her life in the type of peril that can’t be easily solved by throwing a hammer around. He’s really got to broaden his horizons.

Don’t Tread On The Full ‘War Horse’ Trailer

Though we aren’t shown any imagery of horses firing weapons at one another, the full-length War Horse trailer looks pretty good. The Steven Spielberg film tells the story of Joey, a horse purchased for World War I combat, and his owner as he joins the war in an effort to reclaim his horse. What the hell? I don’t understand. Did the animal eat something that was important to him? Why is he so attached to that thing? Somebody’s got to teach that kid how commerce works.

We can find out for sure when the film is released on Christmas Day.

Loki The God of Mischief Also The God Of Not Being In ‘The Avengers’

Loki would be the villain in the upcoming movie, The Avengers. This rumor, like all good rumors, made a lot of sense – comic readers know that Loki was the villain who cause The Avengers to form in the first place. But it turns out this probably isn’t the case, at least according to Tom Hiddleston, who plays Loki in Thor. At the recent KAPOW convention in London, Hiddleston “strongly hinted” that Loki won’t be the main villain of The Avengers, and also suggested he won’t be appearing in the movie at all.

So now it’s time to take part in the Internet’s favorite pastime – mindless speculation. I’m mindlessly speculating that the villain in The Avengers will be … Don Draper! They can do a storyline in which Draper discovers the secret to eternal youth that gives him superpowers, so it could still be set in the present day. Make this happen, Marvel. (The Daily Blam)

New ‘Thor’ Character Posters Are Like Mugshots Of The Gods

The people over at Thor‘ target=’_blank’>Thor-2′ target=’_blank’>Thor Posters Inc have been catching some flack for perceived laziness, since many of the posters have that “90s superhero movie” look and feel to them. Then, when they try to do something different, they catch holy hell from poster aficionados too! So it looks like this time, with these 6 character posters that have been released on several different websites recently, they decided to split the difference. They look like the infamous “red” posters, but with a more traditional color scheme. It remains to be seen if everyone on the internet will be satisfied with these.

The posters feature six characters from the movie, and they look like they should be holding cards with their heights and weights. There’s Chris Hemsworth at Thor, Tom Hiddleston as Loki, Anthony Hopkins as Odin, Idris Elba as Heimdall, Natalie Portman as Jane Foster and Jaimie Alexander as Sif. First Official Look At Anthony Hopkins As Steampunk Santa In Marvel’s ‘Thor’

Today we have our first official look at Sir Anthony Hopkins as Odin in Marvel’s Thor. Oof. One minute you’re turning in thoughtful, Oscar-worthy performances. The next, you’re threatening to retire because the movie where you pretended to be a feral, chimp man didn’t connect with audiences. Then all of a sudden, you’re in some weird, muscley armor walking through a Roman sewer with a piece of foil double-sticked to your eye. Thus, is the life of the thespian.

The LA Times debuted this photo along with the news that bot Thor and Captain America will undergo a 3D post conversion process before hitting theaters. Marvel and the filmmakers are well aware of the challenges this decision creates, and that is why they will spend "an unprecedented amount of time" on the conversion. What do you expect them to do? They’ve already shot too much footage of hammers and shields being thrown at the camera to turn back now.
