Okay, this better SERIOUSLY be it. Spike Lee edited together old footage of Michael Jackson with some new wide, fast push-in shots to create the final music video for his final song, This Is It. Lee’s probably livid (he gets livid a lot) that the director of High School Musical, Kenny Ortega, got to direct the big screen version of M.J.’s farewell, and he wanted to create his own harmonious images of the now months dead superstar. Michael Jackson’s concert film This Is It predictably toppe the box office this weekend given that it had zero competition. However the $20mil domestic take was lower than expected. The low number has prompted nervous filmmakers to expand the film’s two week limited run until past Thanksgiving. You see? This is what happens when your star refuses to promote the film in any way, shape, or form. (Reuters)

Below are a couple new clips from THIS IS IT, the Michael Jackson tribute film that arrives in theaters next week for a 2-week limited run that we’re sure, based on pre-ordered tickets alone, will get extended. 

The first clip is a featurette that gives us a glimpse of just how huge this concert tour was going to be and how meticulous the preparation had to be to pull it all off. 

The second clip is a string of shots showing how Jackson and his backup dancers put some of the choreography together. Not since… ever… has goose stepping been so cool.
