Holla at yo’ boi this weekend.
This trailer reminds me of my babysitting experiences, only this video has slightly more Method Man. Slightly.
If these blurry pics don’t get you excited for 20th Century Fox’s upcoming slate, nothing will. Except the trailers. And official images.
‘Suspiria’, but with weed.
Sam Rockwell is in final negotiations to chase Jonah Hill all around town for his cocaine in The Sitter. David Gordon Green is directing the upcoming action-comedy about a babysitter who must evade drug dealers while taking care of three kids. It's like Adventures in Babysitting with more booger sugar and less Elisabeth Shue.
JB Smoove, better known as Leon from "Curb Your Enthusiam," is also on board to play Rockwell's drug dealing partner. The script by Brian Gatewood and Alessandro Tanaka is supposed to be hilarious, and I can't imagine teaming Smoove and Rockwell together will hurt any of the scenes. The only element that might suffer is the logistics, as Jonah Hill has to run around a town all night. (ThePlaylist)
Smells like Oscar.
Now that his totally not-staged downward spiral documentary I'm Still Here is playing before audiences, Joaquin Phoenix is ready to get back in the game. He's set to star in Big Shoe, a movie that focuses on a shoe fetishist who is also a talented footwear designer. Which could or could not be gross. On the one hand, it's healthy to be invested in what you do for a living. On the other, I'm proud of that Photoshop I did up above, but I didn't choke-fap while creating it. I save that kind of bahavior for the Girl Gallery. (THR)
Jonah Hill has signed on for The Sitter, a comedy that's being compared to Adventures in Babysitting or Charles in Charge with less coke on set. Like Jackie Chan before him, Hill will play a babysitter in charge of the well-being of three children. Though unlike Chan he will not have the secret side-profession of international spy. Let us hope that the family doesn't have a pet pig or duck or whatever Hollywood decides to give them to make the marketing more quirky. The evening goes awry when Hill brings the kids to a drug dealer's house while trying to score some blow so that he can get laid. So, that's how he does it!!David Gordon Green is in talks to take over the directing duties from The Wackness's Jonathan Levine, who is currently working on I'm With Cancer. Buzz is that the script is hilarious, but what attracted Hill to the project was the mention that his babysitter character would have full fridge privileges. (THR)
