He's adapting the Gabriel Allon books by Daniel Silva. I wonder if he'll have a role for Ludacris.

<a href="http://www.screenjunkies.com/movies/movie-news/Paul-haggis-goes-all-south-park-takes-big-dump-on-scientology/” target=”_blank”>Dissing Scientology hasn’t slowed down Paul Haggis’s career at all. He already has projects like The Equalizer, Gold, and Cell 211 percolating, and today there’s news of another film that will get the Haggis Touch.

Universal is in talks with the writer/director to develop a new spy film franchise based off the Gabriel Allon novels by Daniel Silva. The character Allon is an ex-Mossad agent who avenged the murder of Israeli athletes during the Munich Olympics. The story picks up ten years later when an old enemy pulls the retired Allon back in. There’s a good chance that Haggis would direct this film as well if he can work it into his busy schedule of thinking about racism and how it’s bad and stuff. (LA Times)
