Summit’s ‘Unexpected’ Pitch Is Junior-riffic!

Summit Entertainment picked up a comedy pitch to be scripted by Life As We Know It writers Ian Deitchman and Kristin Rusk Robinson, based on Jennifer Eatz’s treatment. Todd Garner and Eatz will produce. The pitch, a body swap tale about a pregnant wife who switches places with her husband (after encountering a fertility totem), is ridiculous. Is the world ready for “Freaky Friday Meets Junior” (you KNOW that was the pitch)? I know I’m not. I’ll be mentally preparing myself for this film for the next 3 months, which is probably home long it’ll take to get it made. I’m sure the script will take at least two weeks to write, and will feature a hilarious male breastfeeding scene. (Deadline)
