Here's a peak at Harris as John McCain, wincing in front of his supporters, looking like a maverick. Fact: mavericks dress in ties and have up-tight posture.

The older you get, the tougher it is to take a shit. That’s probably the jumping off point for Ed Harris‘ portrayal of Senator John McCain in Game Change, HBO’s film about the 2008 election.

Screen Junkies already posted a picture of Julianne Moore after going through the HockeyMomulator 9000 to become Sarah Palin. Now get a peak at McCain below, wincing in front of his supporters, looking like a maverick. Fact: mavericks dress in ties and have up-tight posture. That’s what makes a man a maverick, friends. Also, let’s give a hand to hair and make-up. They did some good hair and make-upping here.

Game Change is directed by Jay Roach. Ron Livingston and Woody Harrelson also star. (EW)

Everything's coming up Ron Livingston.

Everything’s coming up Ron Livingston.

The actor just signed on for two back-to-back projects. First, he’ll be going to Channing Tatum‘ high school reunion. Ten Year already stars Tatum, Jenna Dewan, Chris Pratt, Anna Faris, Kate Mara, Justin Long, Anthony Mackie, Rosario Dawson, Chris Pine, and Brian Geraghty. Now we can throw Livingston into the mix. Given that he’s much older than the rest of the cast, it’s likely he’ll play a teacher or skeevy older guy or possibly a peer with advanced aging syndrome like Robin Williams in Jack.

After that’s in the can, he’s filming The Odd Life Of Timothy Green with Jennifer Garner and Joel Edgerton. In the film, Garner and Edgerton play parents who wish for a baby but get something unexpected. Do they get Ron Livingston? Like a Little Man-version of Ron Livingston? Or maybe Ron Livingston will play a child with advanced aging syndrome like Robin Williams in Jack. (Deadline)
