Director Michael J. Bassett says via press release:

It wouldn’t be the same without some of the original Silent Hill cast.  Sean, Radha and Deborah’s return will certainly thrill fans of the franchise and compliment Revelations stars Adelaide and Kit.

Oh good. They’re making the same movie. Just as suspected. I was concerned I would have to think. Phew!

Radha Mitchell got her big Hollywood start in Pitch Black opposite Vin Diesel, and has been a rising star ever since. The only downside is she kind of owes her success to Vin Diesel, and you NEVER want to be in that guy’s pocket.

A word from Radha: “Any situation today could be a tragedy or a comedy, it just depends on the mood that you’re in when you’re experiencing it, and the mood of the storyteller who is telling it.”

I could tell you a story of a puppy massacre while I was still high off a drug fueld threeway with Bar Refaeli and a stranger and I bet you’d still think it was tragic. So there.

The new trailer for The Crazies, starring Timothy Olyphant and Radha Mitchell, has mixed into the web like tainted drinking water, and I’m digging the funny taste. We showed you the first trailer a couple months back of the Breck Eisner remake of the cult George Romero film. The new one has plenty shots of Olyphant offering stupified looks and zombie people jumping at the camera while the music goes DUM!

As you may or may not choose to remember, Breck Eisner directed the film Sahara starring Matthew "Shirts Iritate My Skin" McConaughey, so while The Crazies may not live up to those terrifying results, it looks scary nonetheless. The film is about the inhabitants of a small Iowa town suddenly plagued by insanity and then death after a mysterious toxin contaminates their water supply. Overall, it sounds like an amalgamation of Erin Brockovich and Christmas dinner at my mom’s house.

Bruce Willis is back, bald and with a full head of hair! How is that possible, you ask? Well it’s easy when you’re playing a bald man plugged into a machine that allows you to control your thick haired carbon copy.  The trailer for the new sci-fi/action thriller Surrogates hit the ‘nets today and it looks like a doozy of a concept.  Set in a futuristic world where humans live in isolation and interact through surrogate robots, a cop (Willis) is forced to leave his home for the first time in years in order to investigate the murders of others’ surrogates. 

The film comes from director Jonathan Mostow, who also directed Terminator 3, U-571, and Breakdown starring Kurt Russell (awesome!).  Take a look at the trailer after the jump, let us know what you think – like whether or not you like Ving Rhames in dreadlocks.
