‘Star Trek’ fans, rejoice. The J.J. Abrams-patented excessive lens flare is back.
I’m not sure I’d want anything bursting out of my skull, but seeing a chrome-plated “2″ bursting out of a metal skull is pretty awesome.
How would he not have more cuts and bruises?
In Fox’s new poster for ‘X-Men: First Class’, we see Beast, Mystique, and a bunch of non-blue muties all walking in different directions. Or standing around. Whatever.

The “Game of Thrones” marketing team must be a pretty literal bunch.
The marketing team behind these ‘X-Men: First Class’ posters have revealed their mutant power: they can create images that boggle the mind with terribleness.
In the first one, star Jake Gyllenhaal goes to Square Town. In the second, he’s walking around Clocksville, USA.
Not digging these new posters. They look like someone took perfectly good ‘Thor’ publicity stills and tried to make a few terrible Calvin Klein ads.
Don’t forget to concentrate, as you should on all works of fine art.
Man, that’s some “X.” Maybe it’s the biggest X in eXistence?
Releasing one bad-ass poster for True Grit just isn’t enough to appease those Coen Brothers. As the film’s December release draws near, the marketing team is beginning their full press.

Television's ultimate pitchman has passed away. Billy Mays, the charismatic and clamorous infomercial host died in his sleep after sustaining a head injury during a rough plane landing this past weekend. The very likeable Mays is currently co-starring with Anthony Sullivan on the Discovery Channel show Pitchmen. This really is such a shame. It's always sad to see someone cut down while their star is on the rise. His contributions to the tapestry of television will be sorely missed. Well, another day, another Inglourious Basterds poster featuring another cast member being labeled a "Basterd." This time it's Diane Kruger… but we didn't want to use that as our main image, because we're feeling whimsical today. So here's a fake poster from our fantasy version of inglourious Basterds, in which a youthful Gary Coleman takes on the Nazis. Whatchutalkin'bout, Hitler?!See the real Diane Kruger poster (and the others released at this point) after the jump.
