Christopher Nolan made good use of his time in Pittsburgh filming scenes for The Dark Knight Rises by destroying Heinz Field. Whatever. I’m sure they’re insured.

In the clips above and below, you can see Tom Hardy as Bane after he and his thugs crash a Gotham Rogues game. In the interest of not revealing too many spoilers, we won’t describe what takes place in these set videos. Watch at your own risk if you want to maintain a modicum of surprise when you see the eventual film. And, if that’s the case, might we suggest you avoid the Internet until July 20, 2012.

Gotham City Will Look A Little More Pittsburghy This Time

Christopher Nolan’s two Batman movies. But it appears they’ll be disappointed when they go to see the third entry, The Dark Knight Rises, because Nolan has decided to shoot in Pittsburgh, PA. Here’s Nolan, defending himself from a hail of thrown deep dish pizzas, Polish sausages, and political corruption:

“Pittsburgh is a beautiful city. We have been able to find everything we were looking for here, and I am excited to spend the summer in Pittsburgh with our final installment of Batman.”

I’ll say he must have found everything he was looking for, because who would want to spend the summer listening to Wiz Khalifa’s “Black and Yellow” ad nauseum? (via The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette)
