We’ve lost our cheek boniest actor. Pete Postlethwaite passed away yesterday after a long battle with testicular cancer. After garnering and Academy Award nomination for his role opposite Daniel Day Lewis in In The Name Of The Father, Postlethwaite went on to appear in a slew of well-known films such as The Lost World: Jurassic Park, Romeo + Juliet, Amistad, and The Usual Suspects. Just this past year he had roles in Inception, The Town, and Clash Of The Titans. I only regret that we’ll never get to view him in Real 3-D. The post-conversion process did him no justice.
