‘Twilight’ Bad Guy Xavier Samuel To ‘Drift’ With Sam Worthington

Xavier Samuel, who, like all great actors, has a made-up-sounding name. He also has his next project on the docket – and it’s that “surfing drama” Drift, with Sam Worthington. In case you’ve forgotten, Drift is based on the true story of the Fisher Brothers, who have to deal with “suspicious locals, killer waves and ruthless bikers as they struggle to kick-start a business from their greatest passion – surfing.”

Samuel will be playing one of the Fishers, with the other being played by Myles Pollard. Worthington’s character is described as “a photographer and journalist” who plays a big part in the brothers’ rise to surfing-related fame. Radical, hang 10, tubular, etc. (The Playlist)
