Eh... Oh, it's a graphic novel? Greenlight!

Mark Millar is quite good at writing ultra-violent graphic novels and selling them as feature films. His latest, Nemesis, about a billionaire who uses his money and influence for extreme evil, has found a potential director in Tony Scott, and a writer in Matthew Carnahan (State of Play, Lions For Lambs).¬† The film should have an interesting journey from page to screen, as it features murdered cops, presidential bombings, and attacks on the Pentagon. And by interesting I mean dear-god-this-is-going-to-be-a-hard-sell-to-studios. I can only imagine what Sony would say, who removed images of the World Trade Center from¬† Spiderman, and non-offensive images to boot. We can’t be sure what they’d have to say about a bomb being hurled at the president, but chances are they might request a “script polish.” (Slashfilm)
