**Sort Of Spoiler Alert**
Mark Romanek’s cloning drama turned out to be secret screening #2 at Fantastic Fest. Never Let Me Go is about a school for kids who find out they’re being bred solely to donate organs, and they’ll probably die after three or four donations. There was an action movie version of this a few years ago, but it wasn’t very good and didn’t do very well so Romanek’s version may as well be original.

Never Let Me Go director Mark Romanek is setting up his future projects and hoping to work with Ben Stiller. The two have been talking about teaming for A Parking Ticket, a dark comedy about a father who decides to fight a parking ticket in order to teach his daughter about the judicial system. Of course, he ends up on death row.
No word yet on whether Stiller will tap into playing an angry character, a nebbish character, or a hip-hop spouting character in a fat suit. There will definitely be a scene with a dance-off, I'm sure. This IS a Ben Stiller movie we're talking about here. (Worst Previews)

MTV has dropped the first clip from Mark Romanek's upcoming Never Let Me Go. The film stars Keira Knightley, Carey Mulligan, and Andrew Garfield as young adults at a boarding school that is doing more than instilling proper etiquette. To give away anymore would be giving away too much. But if you watch the trailer you can probably figure out what's in store for the kids.
In the clip, Keira Knightley, in so many words, tells Carey Mulligan to stay away from her man (Andrew Garfield). She found Carey's porn and laughed at it with Andrew, which is totally not cool. But then she kisses her, so that makes it cool again.
Never Let Me Go hits theaters September 15, 2010.

"Their proteins aren't sustainable?!…" The trailer has been released for Mark Romanek's adaptation of the novel Never Let Me Go. The screenplay for the dramatic thriller was written by Alex Garland (28 Days Later, Sunshine), and is about "a group of children who spent their childhood at a seemingly idyllic English boarding school, who as they grow into young adults, they find that they have to come to terms with the strength of the love they feel for each other, while preparing themselves for the haunting reality that awaits them."
