Sheen recently spoke publicly about his interest in making another Major League sequel where he would portray an oddball who plays hardball and the results are totally screwball. It turns out another sequel has been in the works for awhile but Morgan Creek’s James Robinson doesn’t want Sheen on the roster.

“I’m not going to risk putting Charlie in the movie if he continues messing up. Obviously with Major League 3 there’s a huge part written for Charlie’s character … but after dealing with Lindsay Lohan on Georgia Rule, I can speak for someone who has experienced the difficulties of working with an actor dealing with addiction. When Lindsay was doing Georgia Rule, she would miss full days of work.  When an actor doesn’t show up for work, you can lose half-a-million dollars a day paying the 250 other people there for the shoot and the costs for the set. I won’t go through that again. If Charlie doesn’t straighten up … I unfortunately can’t put him in the movie.”

And that goes double for you, Tom Berenger. Your couch cushion habit will not stand in the way of cinema. (TMZ)

Anyway, in the video, Sheen says that his legions of fans should storm the Morgan Creek offices with “pitchforks, torches, and an angry mob” in order to ensure Sheen gets his due. So expect to see him on an FBI watchlist before the end of the month. (via TMZ)
