If those sex traffickers had real dads, this vacation would have gone off without a hitch.

Maggie Grace plays the president’s comely daughter who happens to be hanging out at an off-Earth prison when the inmates take over. And the only non-Liam Neeson guy who can save her is Guy Pearce. A wise-crackin’, butt-smokin’, one man wrecking machine whose gonna astronaut his way in and get her off that floating crowbar hotel. Lockout looks completely ridiculous. But also completely awesome. It’s the Con-Air sequel we’ve always wanted. Give me all the tickets.

In space, when you drop the soap, does the soap float in mid-air?

PENELOPE CRUZ will team up with director Woody Allen once again, this time on a film set in Rome. There are no plot details yet, but the computer program I wrote says the odds are very high that it won’t be as good as earlier Woody Allen movies. (EW)

THANDIE NEWTON will play opposite Tyler Perry in his next film Good Deeds, which Perry will write and direct as well. The film is about a successful businessman who must choose between his rich fiancée and a down-on-her-luck single mother. Even if it’s bad, Newton can take comfort that it can’t be worse than Norbit. JAY BARUCHEL will join Robert Pattinson, Samantha Morton, and Paul Giamatti in David Cronenberg’s Cosmopolis. Pattinson plays a billionaire who loses everything he has in one day, including his new wife. Bad things happening to Pattinson, I can get on board with. Baruchel plays the original founder and conscious at Pattinson’s company. (Deadline)

MAGGIE GRACE will star alongside Liam Neeson in Taken 2, produced by Luc Besson. And yes, the will-he-or-won’t-he-tension of whether Neeson would take on Taken 2 has been resolved in the affirmative. Eight-time “Namey” award winner Olivier Megaton will direct. (Deadline) (Collider)

CBS Films has dropped a new red band trailer for Faster. It’s directed by George Tillman Jr. and stars Dwayne “Don’t Call Me The Rock Anymore” Johnson, Billy Bob Thornton, Carla Gugino, Maggie Grace, and Moon Bloodgood.

Looks like there are plenty of brutal head shots as an ex-con drives, I’m going to assume fast, throughout the city knocking off the gang members that killed his brother ten years prior. Why anyone would ever f*ck with Dwayne’s family is beyond me. I would just assume once he’s let out of prison I’m dead.

Take off your press-ons, ladies. Things are about to get rowdy. Taken takee Maggie Grace has been cast as Bella’s nemesis Irina in Twilight: Breaking Dawn. My girlfriend hasn’t updated me yet on the next installment so I’ll let Deadline do the honors:

Irina is a member of the Denali coven, considered cousins to the Cullen clan as the only other "vegetarian" vampire group. When Irina blames the Cullens for the death of her lover, her actions set in motion a terrifying chain of events.

And by terrifying they mean sparkly. The film is being directed by Bill Condon and released in two parts because that means more money. The first part comes out November 18, 2011 and the second part November 16, 2012. After that, Twihards dismember a highly populated metropolis.

_{Space prison is much like Earth prison.}

Maggie Grace and Luc Besson last worked together on taken, which Besson produced and co-wrote and Grace starred in as Liam Neeson’s stupid daughter who shares cabs with strange Frenchman just because they smile at her. Now Deadline reports that they’re reteaming for Lockout, a film with one of the coolest loglines I’ve heard in a long time:

Guy Pearce is attached to play a man wrongly convicted of conspiracy to commit espionage against the U.S. He’s offered his freedom if he can rescue the president’s daughter (Grace) from an outer space priso taken over by violent inmates.

He has to save her from a space prison riot? Awesome! Prison riots in genera kick-ass, as evidenced by Face/Off, but imagine what one would look like with zero-gravity, once the device in the film that sustains gravity inevitably gets shut off. If they cast Charles S. Dutton, who’s familiar with space prison from Alien 3 and Earth prison from real life, this film is sure to blow up bigger than Taken. I can hear Guy Pearce saying the lines now… "I will find you. And I will kill you. In space." Good luck.

The Faster teaser trailer has Tokyo drifted onto the scene. It’s nice to see Dwayne Johnson shedding his tooth fairy wings and picking up a gun. He should only kick ass from now on and stop these movies where he gets into embarassing situations with nine-year-olds.

The film follows an ex-con who sets out to avenge his brother’s death after they were double-crossed during a heist years ago. It also stars Billy Bob Thornton, Maggie Grace, Moon Bloodgood, and Carla Gugino. That’s a whole lotta sexy for one movie. The women must have joined together at some point to fend off Billy Bob’s forceful advances.

Maggie Grace shows off her blonde sexy curls and fit body wherever she goes, either as a kidnapped teenager in Taken or a tough heroine in “Lost.” She can next be seen in Knight and Day, but blink and you’ll miss her performance as Cameron Diaz’s matrimonial-bound sister. She’ll be coming to Dwyane Johnson’s rescue in this fall’s Faster, where her smoking hot legs will be put to good action use.

A word from Maggie: “High heels can be sexy. But before you leave the house, make sure you can walk in them. I’ve made that mistake.”
