Matthew Weiner hasn’t begun work on the fifth season of “Mad Men.”
“Mad Men” fans: Are you turned-on or freaked out?
AMC President Charlie Collier says season four of “Breaking Bad” will take it to the next level and be “truly phenomenal.” Also, where’s the zombie apocalypse headed from here?
The 10 best TV on DVD releases includes well-known shows as well as those that were little-watched while on the air. Regardless of whether you’ve seen the shows, below is…
You would guess by this montage that Don Draper is a bit of a dumbass on "Mad Men." For such a creative genius, he doesn't seem to grasp much that's told to him. Or maybe he's going deaf and no one has diagnosed it properly. Quick, someone clap in front of his face and see if he reacts. If he asks "what?" again we should immediately book an appointment with someone who looks into brains. A doctor perhaps!
See Don Draper perplexed after the jump…
“Mad Men” might be over until next year, but fortunately the show’s generous lineup of sweater-clad office vixens is still around to keep us going. Enter Peyton List, the 24-year-old stunner whose depiction of secretary-turned-socialite Jane Siegel became a welcome element in the series midway through season two. A model since age eight, List took a stab at acting with a bit role in an episode of “Sex and the City” back in 2000. Lucky for us, she kept it up. Here’s hoping we’ll see more of Roger Sterling’s young wife in the months ahead.
A word from Peyton: “I was on the box art for some young girl-crush kind of board games. It’s embarrassing.”

With the kind of face that makes you stop, stare, and wonder where the hell you've seen her before, Jessica Pare is slowly making waves in the glitz-adorned lap pool that is Hollywoodland. From bit roles in low-budget theatre productions to Candadian film stardom and most recently to Don Draper's couch in "Mad Men," the Montreal native has run the gamut of the acting world — and she doesn't look to be slowing down anytime soon.
A word from Jessica: "When the time comes when nobody cares about me anymore and nobody wants to see my face anymore, then that`s fine, too. It's totally normal.”

We're finally paying homage to your favorite buxom redhead Christina Hendricks. She makes Roger's heart flutter on "Mad Men" in pencil skirts that seem to be holding on for dear life at the seams. One disconcerting fact though. The curtains don't match the rug. Christina was born a blonde. We've been duped!
A word from Christina: "My boobs are real, and I'm proud to say that."
And I'm proud to hear that. Along with the rest of the male population.

'Mad Men' star Jon Hamm is a serious contender for the lead in the planned Superman reboot, Latino Review is reporting. His physique, strong jaw, and slicked black hair make him a natural fit for the character. However, Hamm himself expressed reservations about playing a superhero in a recent interview with MTV.
"It's a tricky road to go down with some of those heroes, because they're not flawed. Superman is Superman – he's invincible, so where's the drama?"
Where's the drama with superheroes? Obviously this guy hasn't seen a little film called Fantastic Four: The Rise Of The Silver Surfer! If he had, he'd understand the ridiculousness of his statement. I hope the producers of the new Superman reboot do a careful vetting before they jump into bed with this guy.
Hot off both an Emmy and a fictional Clio Award win, "Mad Men" is going stronger than ever. The fourth season has slyly reinvented the show and ably guided it out of the bummerific territory it normally explored. Rolling Stone stopped by the set and snapped off a few pretty cool candids of Jon Hamm, Christina Hendricks, January Jones, and crew. My only complaint, needs more Blankenship.

And the big winners are…
“Sitcom” and “Drama” ruled the 2010 Emmys, with “Sitcom” taking home the Emmy for best comedy series, while “Drama” took home the Emmy for best drama.
The night's other big winners included actor, who won an Emmy for his role in “Drama,” and actress, who took home the award for best actress in a comedy series.
Highlights from the show included new Conan performing pointless skits, and singer singing a melodramatic song. (Collider)

If you watch "Mad Men" then you know how the previews for the following weeks' episodes are pure bullsh*t. All we get are cryptic phrases and the occasional highball glass smashed over dramatic music. John Duffy decided to edit a few "On the Next Mad Men" previews of his own using footage from familiar TV shows and movies. The "Always Sunny in Philadelphia" one above definitely has me intrigued. How will Charlie slap Dee's face off of her face?! Check out more of John's previews here. (BuzzFeed)
Play it cool, boys. Geez.
You've been waiting years to touch Christina Hendricks and now eBay is making it possible. A 10-day "Mad Men" auction goes live on Thursday in which some of the items up for bid are a walk-on role on the show, furniture and props from Sterling Cooper, and dresses that have graced the skin of both Betty Draper (January Jones) and Joan Harris (Christina Hendricks). Imagine the things you could do with those dresses, as long as you have the matching shoes, of course.
A portion of the proceeds from the auction will go to the lung cancer program at southern California's City of Hope hospital. The other portion will go to the January-Jones-F*cked-Up-Again fund. You can start bidding tomorrow HERE. Make sure your PayPal accounts are in order. Christina Hendricks's dress waits for no nerd. (Vulture)
If you've ever watched an episode of "Mad Men" you're probably aware that the characters like to throw a few dozen back. Doesn't matter what time of day it is or what's in the glass. Scotch, whisky, moonshine, turpentine, they've downed it all. Here's a montage that mixes all of those moments together in one delicious serving. (WarmingGlow)
Abigail Spencer has joined the cast of the upcoming Jon Favreau movie, Cowboys and Aliens. Co-starring Daniel Craig, Olivia Wilde, Harrison Ford and Sam Rockwell, the film is still in its early stages, and will not be released until July of 2011.Spencer is best known for playing the mistress of Don Draper on the hit AMC show, "Mad Men." Not wanting to by typecast, she branched out and took the roll of a prostitute in Cowboys and Aliens. ZING!
"Mad Men" is such an outstanding television program that creator Matthew Weiner doesn't want to give away ANYTHING for Season Four. Even in the new trailer, all we get is past footage. Granted, martinis and red-headed broads still wet my whistle, but at least gimme a taste of things to come. Damn you, Weiner! Fine! I'll tune in to AMC on Sunday July 25th, but I'm not going to enjoy it. Alright, I'll probably enjoy it.Check out the "Mad Men" Season 4 trailer after the jump…
The poster for "Mad Man" season 4 has hit, and it's clear that Don Draper needs a chair. If these are his new office digs for the new agency then I have to say kudos. With that view he can probably see so many people having sex in adjacent apartment complexes. In this new season, Don's getting a divorce from Betty and starting his own company at the same time. Someone get this eligible bachelor on a 60s gameshow, stat. He could impregnate an entire female audience with one smoldering glance.Season 4 of "Mad Men" premieres July 25 on AMC. (Ausiello)
Hey there, modern gentlemen of the 1960s! Have you heard what's all the rage in prime time entertainment fifty years from now? "Mad Men," that's what! Why, on Sunday, 8/17/2009 (last sunday for us future folk), the Season 3 premiere enjoyed 2.8 million viewers. And that's basic cable, friend! What's basic cable you ask? Why, it's something that the entertainment industry will invent years from your time to dump off all the hooey, the likes with which respectable sponsors like Mutual of Omaha would never dare associate!
If only it could be January year round.
