Lawless will play a single mom who needs the assistance of the Pawnee Parks Department, and since she’s gonna be around for a few episodes, it’s highly like that she will be playing the previously-hinted-at Swanson Girl. A Swanson Girl is like a Bond Girl, but way more interesting.

If this relationship doesn’t end with a battle with medieval weapons then…then…just…missed opportunity, man.

Yes, yes. I’m sure that Lawless’ plight of spending a weekend occupying a tanker ship in new Zealand is very similar to the people in Guantanamo Bay, some of whom have been unjustly held and tortured. I don’t know why Xena can’t just accept the fact that without that awesome oil she’s shanghaiing, we’d all have to ride the bus like poor people.

Lucy Lawless is best known for her role as Xena the Warrior Princess, the ass kicking hot chick who may or may not have been a lesbian. Although she’s done lots of television and film in her career, the image of her in her warrior skirt, beating the crap out of stunt men in ancien Greek attire, will forever be stuck in my head.
