Stephen Chbosky’s The Perks Of Being A Wallflower will at long last give us our first chance to see Emma Watson not act against a green screen. Starring Logan Lerman, the story centers around a teen who finds himself through drugs and sex and by writing letters to an anonymous recipient. The movie co-stars Mae Whitman, Nina Dobrev Paul Rudd, and Johnny Simmons. Thanks to Lerman’s Twitter, we now know what the top half of Emma Watson’s head will look like in the movie.

Not sure what the rest of her body will look like. It could be a gorilla suit or a hot chick. Only time will tell. (ONTD)

Logan Lerman is ready to get some on camera. He’s signed on to star in The Only Living Boy In New York. Horrible Bosses director Seth Gordon will helm from a script by Allan Loeb.

The story follows Lerman as he learns his father is having an affair. In his attempts to stop it, he ends in a relationship with the woman as well. Gross. You can’t bang someone who your dad has banged. That’s like being one person away from banging your dad, and two people removed from banging your mom. You’re sick, Allan Loeb!

The Perks Of Being A Wallflower had better inform craft services to stock up on eggs and mayonnaise.”Arrested Development‘s” Ann Veal (aka Mae Whitman) has joined the cast alongside Emma Watson and Logan Lerman.

In the film, she’ll play the tattooed first girl(?)friend of Logan Lerman’s introverted nerd character. It’s another highish-profile role for Whitman after having played Roxy Richter in Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World. Congratulations Egg. I mean, Ann. I mean, Mae. (Variety)

Summit has released the trailer for Paul W.S. Anderson’s new explosion-y take on Th Three Musketeers, which is in 3D, of course. It stars Logan Lerman as D’Artagnan, and Matthew MacFadyen, Luke Evans and Ray Stevenson as the other three less diva-ish sword wielders. Couldn’t they just have remade this thing with Keifer Sutherland, Charlie Sheen, and Chris O’Donnell, the cast of the 1993 version? Those guys could use the work. Plus Sheen needs to get his “Winning” phrase in a movie before it goes completely stale. Oh wait, too late on that already?

I know you’ve been refreshing Screen Junkies all day for a possible Percy Jackson 2 announcement. Now you can finally get on with the rest of your life, because it’s been confirmed that Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Sea of Monsters is officially being worked on. My hands are trembling with excitement as I type this.

Fox 2000 has signed the Perce-Man himself Logan Lerman for the sequel, and while Chris Columbus probably won’t return as director/ruiner, he will produce Sea of Monsters. Writers Scott Alexander and Larry Karaszewski (1408) will adapt Rick Riordan’s second novel in the popular Percy Jackson series.

Lightning Thief‘s haul was far from Olympian, but the books remain popular, so Fox 2000 will give Percy Jackson another chance to sla the box office monster. Maybe Percy will grow up from a half-blood god to a Harry Potter, if we all just give it a chance, which at the moment I’m not prepared to do.

Emma Watson is running around with fake-Harry Potter Percy Jackson. Untrustworthy witch!

Watson signed on to star opposite Logan Lerman in The Perks Of Being A Wallflower, an adaptation of Stephen Chbosky’s heavily-banned novel. The John Malkovich-produced film had a hard time finding a home but now there’s news that Summit will pick it up with plans for shooting to begin this June.

In the film, Lerman will star as an outcast who mails anonymous letters to strangers. Watson will play one of two classmates who befriend him. The other will be played by an awkward-looking underaged red-haired boy who grown women in my age group have a sexual attraction to for some reason. You know who you are. (Vulture)

Some Little Jerk in The Running for ‘Spider-Man’ Reboot

Let me preface this post by saying I disapprove of the Spider-man Reboot in general. With that said, little idiot Logan Lerman told Access Hollywood that he’s in early talks to play Peter Parker in Marc Webb‘s jerktastic reboot of the Spider-Man franchise. Says Lerman:

“It’s just, you know, conversations are starting. It’s a long process with the dumbass studio and the jerkball producers and everything. But it’s definitely a project that I’m really interested in, of course. I’d love to focus on the sh*thead element a little bit more. It’d be such a fun experience.”

However, the Hollywood Reporter says that the little snot and Percy Jackson star is just one of the dickwads with whom the sh*t-for-brains studio is meeting. Says a spokesman for the studio:

“No offers have been made, nor have any business discussions been made with that fartknocker.”

When asked for comment, a Spider-Man fan on the street (me) responded with a prolonged fart sound.

So there you have it. The first official hat in the ring for the coveted role of Peter Parker. We’ll keep you posted as more stupid buttheads are announced. (THR)
