Two more have joined ranks of weird-named characters that will fight to the death in the adaptation of Hunger Games. “Grey’s Anatomy‘s” Levin Rambin and Jack Quaid (son of Dennis Quaid and Meg Ryan) will play District 1 tributes Glimmer and Marvel. I have no idea what those words mean. Now my niece will never accept me.

They’ll join Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, two unknowns, and maybe Elizabeth Banks for the teen-aged battle royale. Having not read the book, I can’t speak to the characters’ fates. But I wouldn’t be quick to dismiss Jack Quaid. Crazy goes a long way in these types of competition and he is Randy‘s nephew after all. (THR)
