‘This Is 40′ Red-Band Affirms Megan Fox’s Breasts Are Great

Not only does she get to run her fingers through Judd Apatow‘s luxurious facial hair, now Leslie Mann has experienced the pleasure of laying her hands upon Megan Fox’s perfect breasts. Lucky for the rest of us, her husband was there to film it.

That’s just one of the scenes on display in this red-band featurette for This Is 40, starring Mann and Paul Rudd as their characters from Knocked Up. The film explores the ups and downs of marriage, parenthood, and sex after your body has decided to destroy you. Enjoy them while they last, Megan Fox (and everyone who likes to look at Megan Fox).

Halloween is the season for creepy stop-motion animated children’s movies. And so today we have a new trailer for ParaNorman, from the studio that brought you Coraline. I’m not much of an animation buff but this looks pretty cool, and it also has one of the best titles I’ve seen in a while (I’m a sucker for puns). The trailer doesn’t have much information in the way of plot, but it does have a lot of creepy images and it looks cool. And check out this voice cast: Casey Affleck, John Goodman, Jeff Garlin, Anna Kendrick, Leslie Mann, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, and Elaine Stritch. I know most of those names!

ParaNorman is scheduled for an August, 2012 release, so expect lots more information to come between now and then. Below you can also see a (kind of bland) poster for the movie. (The Playlist)

There’s already been talk of The Change-Up star Olivia Wilde getting CGI nipples in an upcoming comedy, but it’s Leslie Mann‘s nude scenes that’ll have guys both enticed and perplexed.

The adorable and talented actress has been a prominent female lead lately thanks to a helping hand from director/producer/writer husband Judd Apatow. Mann’s never been afraid to show a little skin, but even in The Cable Guy when she was at unknown, she didn’t give away the farm (the farm being her bare breasts). Perhaps that’s why it’s so surprising to see her topless in The Change-Up. Or are we being duped? Turns out the latter might be the case.

In an interview with Access Hollywood, Mann all but admitted that her topless scenes in the film might be a bit embellished. When asked what it was like to shoot those scenes, the actress replied:

“To grow bigger boobs? I know, it was really hard, but some people can do that, and I can. It’s a strange talent I have.”

She then jokingly confirmed the use of a body-double, saying, “Yeah, I can do things like that.” And when asked if her husband had seen the film, Mann replied, “Yeah. He liked them.”

So there you have it, Leslie Mann sports prosthetic larger-than-average breasts in The Change-Up and Judd Apatow doesn’t mind them. Whether she got to take them home with her for later use is still a mystery, and a case for TMZ.

Review: ‘The Change-Up’

The Change-Up is a watchable generic comedy. It’s okay for a night out or a DVD, but it’s hard to call it good. We’re not talking embarrassing or offensive, but you still want more.

Dave (Jason Bateman) and Mitch (Ryan Reynolds) switch bodies thanks to a magic fountain. At least the film has the decency to acknowledge that it doesn’t really matter what caused the body swapping. They pee in a fountain, the lights black out, they wake up as each other. Boom.

It turns out they weren’t really jealous of each other’s lives. They were each just being polite. So it’s not a wish fulfillment. Mitch is now saddled with a job and a family and Dave is forced to be an actor on a lorno set (light porno, a totally contrived sequence that goes for the easiest laughs). The poster is a lie. Dave never has three ways with hot girls. All his sexual encounters are played for laughs.

It’s funnier to see Bateman and Reynolds play each other’s personas than their own. Maybe they should really switch. The script is not what I’d call inspired though. Dave and Mitch do a lot of babbling. Their dialogue is not clever, but they say it so fast the audience thinks they’ve heard jokes. To their credit, that’s probably the actors’ improv and it’s probably an improvement over what was actually written.

Mitch being inappropriate to Dave’s kids is a really thin joke. He teaches Dave’s daughter to fight back against a ballet school bully, but pointing out the insincerity of stroking a child’s ego doesn’t really seem like a joke. After the first few F bombs, we get it. He’s swearing in front of children.

Dave’s wife Jamie (Leslie Mann) is legitimately upset by these shenanigans. She’s trying to keep her family together, making her the perfect straight woman. If only she had some good comedy to which she could react.

Mitch and Dave learn about themselves by taking each other’s perspectives. Mitch gets to hear his dad (Alan Arkin) say something nice about him, because dad can only say it to Dave. Dave sees what a bad husband he’s been because Jamie can only confide in Mitch. Mitch experiences a child’s love. Awww.

Oh, Dave is also working on a major deal for his promotion, which is the generic job Mitch has to learn how to do when they switch bodies. I mean, it’s not as horrifying as 17 Again, also starring Mann and another recent take on the ‘80s high concept. That was all about a guy wishing he hadn’t abandoned the teenage girl he knocked up, and it had Thomas Lennon peacocking. So go see The Change-Up for a body swapping comedy that’s more focused on poop and butt hole jokes.

Megan Fox is probably sick and tired of being only recognized for her torso and facial features. She has a sense of humor, too, as anyone who can see past her soulless, dead eyes could probably pick up on. And she’s reportedly in talks with America’s Favorite Funnyman Judd Apatow to appear in his next movie.

The project, which will probably feature 4 or 5 dudes sitting around a room making pop culture references, is a spin-off of 2007′s Knocked Up, and will be about Paul Rudd and Leslie Mann‘s characters from that film. The role that Fox would be playing is being kept a secret – I’m guessing it will either be a nuclear physicist, a lesbian double-amputee, or James Franco. (via The Hollywood Reporter)

Apatow Wants Colin Firth To Join His Gang

Judd Apatow still want Paul Rudd to knock up his wife. MTV caught up with the director and his muse Seth Rogen Leslie Mann on Oscars night for an update about the Rudd/Mann-centric Knocked Up spin-off.

“It’s spinning off right now, as we speak,” Apatow told me outside the fancy shmanz Vanity Fair Oscar party Sunday night.

“We’re in rehearsals,” Mann said, adding that her character and Rudd’s character will be seen at a different place in their marriage than in “Knocked Up.”

“We’re really happy now,” she said. “Pete and Debbie are really happy.”

It’s too early in the game to give up plot or additional casting info, but Apatow noted that some familiar faces will be appearing in the film. He also mentioned an actor he’d love to bring in to the fold.

“I’m going to hit on Colin Firth tonight and see if he can play the weird neighbor,” Apatow said. “I think he might do it.”

Seems like he’s only kidding around but I’d love to see Firth cast as the weird neighbor. We already know he can do the requisite stutter.

Judd Apatow Wants Paul Rudd to ‘Knock Up’ His Wife…Sort Of

Judd Apatow is returning to familiar territory with a spin-off of his highest grossing film, Knocked Up. Variety is reporting that the writer/director is working on a project that will reunit Paul Rudd and Leslie Mann. The pair will reprise their roles as a married couple from the original film. Mann also happens to be Apatow’s wife, which is a little creepy. I’m not really into that Rex Ryan stuff. But if I had to film someone else messing around with my wife, Paul Rudd would be the guy. I like his smug attitude. I bet he’d really put her in her place.

The as yet untitled project (Knocked Down? Cocked Up?) won’t hit theaters until June 1st, 2012, so for those of you who were hoping to watch it with your grandma, it’s not looking good. (Coming Soon)

Judd Apatow Accompanies Leslie Mann On ‘Business Trip’

Leslie Mann is taking a Business Trip. The italics mean that’s the title of a movie in which I’m slyly reporting she is attached to star. Actresses don’t go on business trips, you guys. Unless they’re also an entrepreneur of some sort. But that isn’t the case in this instance.

Mann’s husband, super-producer Judd Apatow, will super-produce the film about "three women who go on a corporate trip but wind up doing anything but business while on company time." Yep. Drugs and sex. With their girl parts, which I hear from my older brother are pretty awesome. Or so he heard. (Vulture)
