Warner Bros. is putting together a writing/directing team for a film based on the popular children's toy, Legos, Coming Soon is reporting. Phil Lord and Chris Miller, the duo behind Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, have been tasked with bringing the building blocks to life.Although few details have emerged, the film is being described as an "action adventure set in a LEGO world." While some might decry the idea as yet another example of Hollywood running out of original ideas, I, for one, welcome the Lego movie.
