The two have been hired to write a Johnny Depp-produced adaptation of the comic book, Rex Mundi. And no, that’s not the name of a porn actor… yet.

The story is set in an alternate history where the Catholic Church laid the smack down on the Protestant Reformation. Meaning that a medieval ruling system is still in place and also there is magic. In 1933 Europe, a pathologist’s investigation into the death of the priest that raised him leads him on a journey to find the Holy Grail. And maybe there are two Jeff Bridgeses there? Jeff Bridgei??
