Chloe Moretz To Kick Ass All Over ’30 Rock’

Chloe Moretz, the 13 year old breakout star of buzz movies like Kick Ass and Let Me In, has been tweeting up a storm (@chloegmoretz) about all manner of things, most recently that she’s in New York. Why is she in New York, you ask? To shoot an episode of NBC’s”30 Rock!” This is good news for people who like peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, cheddar cheese and pretzel Combos, and the Run DMC/Aerosmith collabo “Walk This Way.” Moretz was by FAR the best thing about Kick Ass, and “30 Rock” is all that is right with single camera sitcoms, so this appears to be a match made in showbiz heaven. There are no details on her role on the show yet, but one could speculate that she plays a gun toting vampire who murders everyone that works at the fictional sketch show “TGS.” (Vulture)

New ‘Kick-Ass’ Red Band Trailer

Those tissues aren’t for the tears. The new red band trailer for Kick-Ass tackles a subject very near and dear to all teenagers. The protagonist’s dedication to making regular spank bank donations leads him to a higher calling: kicking ass without the help of super powers.

I thought I’d be sick of more Kick-Ass footage, but the new trailer succeeds in its attempt to get me even more amped up. I’m thinking of stretching a pair of my neighbor’s pantyhose over my head and putting an end to crime. I’ll then be arrested for breaking into my neighbor’s house and stealing her pantyhose, a charge I’ll vehemently defend as a necessary evil.

THE GAME IS IN THE RUNNING TO PLAY B.A. BARACUS

Former G-Unit rapper The Game may be ready to join the A-Team according to this article from ComingSoon. The Joe Carnahan-directed reboot has yet to find it’s B.A. Baracus with a number of names having been thrown into the ring so far. Common, Ice Cube, and "Rampage" Jackson have all come up in casting discussions. The Game is my favorite of these options. I feel like he could really bring to the screen the intimidating please-don’t-kill-me vibe that this role needs (a lot more than Common anyway).

But let’s face the fact that no one will be able to fill Mr. T’s shoes. Therefore they should just cast the man himself. He’d be willing to do it. Heck, he was willing to be in this picture.
