Who steals a married couple's sex tape?

Sony Pictures is all about giving the people what they want. And so the people apparently want a comedy about a married couple who makes, and then loses, a sex tape. This is apparent because Sony has paid an absurdly large figure for a spec script with just that premise.

6 photosGal Gadot

The script is by Kate Angelo (who also wrote The Back-Up Plan), and it follows the adventures of the aforementioned married couple as they try to retrieve their sex tape from the hands of … whoever would steal a married couple’s sex tape. The producers are Todd Black, Jason Blumenthal and Steve Tisch, who also came up with the idea. No information on casting or anything like that, but for some reason I’m visualizing a Date Night reunion between Steve Carell and Tina Fey. That seems plausible, right? (Deadline)
