Of course, the context is unknown, and, frankly, irrelevant. Roger Sterling is going to be on Arrested Development which is one of the few headlines that can actually make me forget the overarching “Arrested Development is returning” headlines.

Here’s to hoping that he busts free of the Mad Men archetype and does something completely batshit crazy. Like Martin Short‘s character, Uncle Jack, if Martin Short didn’t always manage to act like Uncle Jack.

Now that Spider-Man has a love interest and a reptilian nemesis, it’s time to figure out who will play his comically gruff boss. J.K. Simmons owned the role of J. Jonah Jameson in Sam Raimi‘s Spidey films, but won’t be returning for the high school-based reboot. Which means Hollywood’s silverhairs are all up for the part.

It’s reported that a dozen or so actors are being discussed for the part (which will inevitably go to Liam Neeson, everything goes to Liam Neeson), including "Mad Men’s" John Slattery and every cowboy movie ever’s Sam Elliott. Hopefully the search will continue because I can’t see either of these guys in the role. Slattery’s too pretty and Sam Elliott’s moustache (though awesome) is just too much for this film to handle. Personally, I’d like to see Mel Gibson in the role. He’s looking to trick us into liking him again and dude is seriously good at yelling. Like Olympics good at it.

The Adjustment Bureau is bringing Philip K. Dick back to the big screen, and in more of a Blade Runner way than a Paycheck way. Matt Damon plays an ambitious politician on the brink of winning a U.S. Senate seat when he meets ballet dancer Emily Blunt. Then sh*t gets unreal. Just as he’s realizing he’s falling for her, mysterious men conspire to keep the two apart.

The motley crew known as The Adjustment Bureau is led by Roger Sterling of "Mad Men," and it’s my asumption that when they’re not determining people’s fates they’re aligning spines in their unstuffy chiropractic practice. It’s the place right by the Baskin Robbins. Park on Oak though, there are never any spots on Main.
