Kimmel has a history of mocking Leno both on Jimmy Kimmel Live! and on The Tonight Show, where he slammed Leno to his face in almost roast-like fashion. Seems that wasn’t enough.

Kimmel  as he prepares to go straight up against David Letterman and Leno in the 11:35 slot in January. Kimmel doesn’t appear to have been wronged by Jay Leno…he just really doesn’t like him.

Which seems to be how most of America feels. Stay tuned tomorrow, when Barack Obama is expected to call Leno an “unfunny cunt weasel.”

So, the hunt for a non-Billy Crystal host continues. Just not Carson Daly. Okay, guys? Agreed? (The LA Times)

The duo, with a little bit of time on their hands before Billion Dollar Movie hits theaters, have followed up their very generous pro-bono Herman Cain campaign ads with ads for this Sunday’s Super Bowl on NBC. It’s important that awareness about the Super Bowl spreads, otherwise it will never catch on.

They showed up on the Kimmel show dressed in tuxedos, top hats, gloves, and canes because they’re football fans, through and through. It’s one thing to see their hijinks on Adult Swim or to a paying audience, it’s another to see how poorly it goes over with a mass audience.

Apparently, America (or at least Jimmy Kimmel viewers) don’t get so excited by Tim and Eric “touching tips.” Penis tips, in case that wasn’t clear.

At any rate, rest in peace, Uncle Frank…and rot in hell, twin brother.

Anyway, the former “Man Show” host had some choice joke-words for advertisers attending this year’s ABC upfronts. Here are some highlights. We’ll start with Kimmel roasting his own network. Hopefully, a little self-deprecating humor will cover all those shitty programming mistakes nicely.

“Remember those shows that we were so excited about last fall? We cancelled all of them. And yet here you are again. I think you might have a gambling problem.”

“You [advertisers] come here and we shower you with promises and never really follow through on any of them. If this was a show, we’d call it ‘The Bachelor.’ We tell you we love you; we give you a rose; we canoodle with you in a hot tub and then two and a half months down the line, you realize we’re gay.”

“We’re excited about all of our shows. Except ‘Shark Tank’. We have no idea how that got back on the schedule. You know what someone should invent on ‘Shark Tank’? A replacement for ‘Shark Tank’.”

Now onto the other networks…

“I have to say, I think ['The X-Factor'] is the best idea of 2002. It’s like ‘American Idol‘ meets a mirror.”

“NBC thanked God for ‘The Voice’… God has nothing to do with what’s going on at NBC. God stopped watching NBC after ‘Friends’. And God isn’t in the demo anyway.”

“CBS announced a plan to move forward and retool the show, and sure enough they found another tool, Ashton Kutcher. He happens to be a pretty solid choice. He’s popular, he’s handsome, he’s talented and he has experience. Remember, he did a very good job replacing Bruce Willis.”

And there you go. The message is: we suck, but they suck too. So… give us your money? (Hollywood Reporter)

Twitter has changed the rap game fo-ev-a, yo. In this music video, Jimmy Kimmel shows Drake he shouldn’t waste anymore of his time writing original, intelligent, rhyming lyrics. Why try to say it better when Justin Bieber and Ashton Kutcher have already said it best? I can’t wait until Ashton’s Twitter-based album "Did You Know Fish Don’t Have Eyelids?" goes platinum. So "LOST" ended last night whether you wanted it to or not. I’m still turning the finale over in my head, and I know that some fans are downright pissed. I won’t go so far as to say they feel betrayed, but I passed a business man on the street today pretending to stab a dagger with the word LOST on the handle into his heart. 

The cast stopped by "Jimmy Kimmel Live" last night to say aloha to a show you might still be saying WTF to. The audience asked some questions and the cast gave some answers. Be warned, it’s nothing mind blowing, or even satisfying. But if you like to giggle in a carefree manner, give the clips a whirl.

Last night, late night television had a rip roaring good time ripping NBC a new asshole. Everyone is pretty amped up over the whole O’Brien/Leno debacle, and the hosts presented a unified front by expressing their disdain for the floundering network in their own special ways. David Letterman, Jimmy Kimmel, Craig Ferguson, and even Conan himself didn’t hold back.

I’ve posted a couple of my favorite clips below from last night’s roast of NBC. The first one shows Conan playing a game of Deal or No Deal with Howie Mandel in an effort to decide his future. The second is Jimmy Kimmel’s monologue, where he decided to impersonate a certain big-chined "funny"man.

Snookie, "The Situation", and Pauly D. from Jersey Shore played The Three Wise Men last night on Jimmy Kimmel Live in a reenactment of The Story of Christmas. It was clear from their performance that "The Situation" still has sick abs, Snookie can’t pronounce words correctly, and camels have a taste for Messiah flesh. No one really cares about Pauly D. He should probably assault someone.
