Guys, I know this sounds weird, but I think Nicolas Cage might be a little eccentric. I know he seems normal most of the time, but listen to this: During an online chat with fans, Cage was asked if there were any characters from his career he’d like to revisit, and this was his response:

“I would like to hook up with one of the great Japanese filmmakers, like the master that made ‘Ringu,’ and I would like to take ‘The Wicker Man‘ to Japan, except this time he’s a ghost.”

Oh OK, this time he’s a ghost who lives in Japan and is constantly shouting about bees. Is Nicolas Cage crazy, a genius, or a crazy genius? I guess we’ll find out as soon as he collaborates with James Franco. The film, directed by Clint Eastwood and starring Matt Damon, opens with a terrifyingly realistic Tsunami destroying a Japanese resort. The film, out of DVD tomorrow in the states, opened last month in Japan, and it seems only fair to end its Japanese release in light of the tragedy that has befallen its people.
