‘Invasion Earth’ To Be A Video Game, And Why Not, A Movie As Well

It’s rare that you read about a new property to be released that isn’t based on a book, video game, a Lite-Brite picture, or whatever. So you are in for a treat when I tell you that writers Anthony Hickox and Peter Atkins are working on a project entitled Invasion Earth, and it’s based on an ostensibly original idea! Here it is:

“[T]he project … revolves around an astronaut who, after years of isolation in space, returns to a chaotic Earth where mankind is suddenly at the bottom of the food chain.”

As if that weren’t enough, this is going to be both a movie AND a video game. If that doesn’t excite you, I don’t kn– ah, don’t look so sad, I’m sure there will be some new Captain America pictures coming out soon. (via Variety)
