'I Love Sarah Jane', despite the title, is about zombies.

Spencer Susser is a name on the rise in the world of film, initially because of his popular short I Love Sarah Jane. Now, after directing his second feature, Hesher, he’s adapting I Love Sarah Jane to feature length. Here’s a plot synopsis for the short:

“The movie takes place in a post-zombie-apocalypse universe, and centers around a 13-year-old boy named Jimbo (Brad Ashby) who is nursing a crush on the no-nonsense Sarah Jane (Mia Wasikowska)”

We see so many movies dealing with the time before a zombie apocalypse, but here’s a movie that is set after a zombie apocalypse (or should it be “the” zombie apocalypse?). Anyway, this seems interesting – and it will be almost as interesting to see if Mia Wasikowska, who’s now something of a big star, will come back to reprise her role.
