Instead of watching a bizarre man in black latex dancing around, this clip shows us a Punk’d style hidden camera shot in which the same latex man scares the crap out of an unsuspecting woman. Enjoy.

Howie Mandel, that merry prankster, is at it again. That’s what I would say if I was amused by Howie Mandel. But because I’m not, here’s what I really want to say: Annoying comedian Howie Mandel again plans to ambush people on television for intended laughs. Mandel, who has played pranks on his NBC shows “Howie Do It” and “The Tonight Show With Jay Leno,” is planning a one hour special where he’ll create a series of flash mobs. For those unfamiliar with the concept of a flash mob, it’s fairly simple: a large group of people show up in a public place and put on some kind of large scale spontaneous performance. Anyone who has seen anything from Charlie Todd’s Improv Everywhere videos will recognize a flash mob immediately.

Mandel’s special, “Mobbed,” will air March 31st at 9pm, following “American Idol.” If all goes well, it could very well be a series. The show will feature every day people surprising their friends and loved ones with important/good news through massive scale song and dance performances. Let’s just hope no one gets so excited by the good news that they try to hi-five Mandel. No touching! (Vulture)
