Since the estate of MLK seems to want Deadline reports that Greengrass is eying The Deep Blue Good-by, based on a series of novels written by John D. MacDonald. It is assumed that Leonardo DiCaprio‘s Appian Way would produce, with DiCaprio interested in the role of protagonist Travis McGee, a beach bum who picks up work in salvage and has adventures along the way. Edgar, followed by Baz Luhrmann‘s The Great Gatsby, so expect timing to be a big fact in all of this, especially considering that Memphis still appears to be his highest priority.
