He’s like nerd catnip.
He’ll lead man against those dirty apes.
Gary Oldman’s manager got himself a role.
Will he be able to diagnose Robocop’s medical problem in time to save him?
‘Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy’ hits theaters January 6th.
Don’t get us wrong – we’ll still buy from them, we just don’t know why they have to make it so unpleasant.
‘Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy’ looks like it will be this year’s best film about British guys not trusting one another.

Can’t wait for ‘Dark Knight Rises’? You can see Gary Oldman and Tom Hardy in theaters this year, albeit in a movie that’s not about Batmen.
‘The Professionals’ are coming! ‘The Professionals’ are coming!
No matter who is chosen as the next villain, I’m sure the film will be awesome. Unless, of course, Christopher Nolan has started smoking crack, and decides to go with one of these 9 lame-asses.
There is a kick ass way to redo this fairy tale. Instead this is all the boring parts of a teen romance.
Catwoman and Bane might get a new evil roommate in the upcoming Batman film. Someone from “way back.”

The Red Riding Hood trailer has hit the internaught, and I have to say, it looks remarkably similar to the trailers I’ve seen for the Twilight films. That’s probably due, in no small part, to the fact that Catherine Hardwicke directed both films.
If you felt the original Kung Fu Panda wasn't creepy enough, we've got some good news for you. Gary Oldman has signed on board for the sequel, which instantly increases the film's creepiness factor by 78%.Oldman plays a feathered character named "Peacock" who helps our panda hero track down the bad guys. However, it seems that Peacock may be more than he claims. My money is on a crooked DEA agent or perhaps Lee Harvey Oswald. Only time and a $20 movie ticket will tell. (EmpireOnline)
Very few actors have the villainous acumen of Gary Oldman. His expansive biography of ne'er-do-wells extends from mythology's greatest bad guy (Dracula) to common pimps and pedophiles. His talent is so far reaching it also includes douchy politicians and power-hungry killers with bad hair.Alas, lately he's been springing up as Goody Two Shoes, like Batman's wingman Commissioner Gordon. He's even been using his predisposition as a bad guy with a sense of irony, as in his role in the Harry Potter series, Sirius Black. However, in his latest movie, The Book of Eli, he returns to his roots – playing the antagonist. So we'd like to congratulate Gary on his comeback to malevolence (we've missed you) with a highlight of the various evil-doers he's made so vivid on the silver screen, ranked in order of his characters' titles.
To make the hardcore fight sequences in The Book of Eli look as realistic and kick-ass as possible, Denzel Washington worked with famed fight choreographer Jeff Imada. Jeff also worked on a little fighting movie called Fight Club. He did Fight Club, people. The movie about fighting! Suffice it to say The Book of Eli will garner some amazing fight sequences, and Denzel takes them on all by himself. When you absolutely positively have to kill every motherf*cker in the room, accept no substitutions. Check out the fight training video after the jump. The Book of Eli resurrects itself in theaters January 15th, 2010.
Director: Albert and Allen HughesCast: Denzel Washington, Gary Oldman, Mila KunisSynopsis: A post-apocalyptic tale, in which a lone man fights his way across America in order to protect a sacred book that holds the secrets to saving humankind.
