MYSTERY TEAM
Monday, July 20 by

Director: Dan EckmanCast: Donald Glover, D.C. Pierson, Dominic Dierkes, Aubrey Plaza, Matt WalshSynopsis: At age seven, Oakdale's Mystery Team was a band of kid detectives dedicated to solving child-sized mysteries (like who put their finger in the pie, and who stole the tricycle), and the town loved them for it. Now they're eighteen years old, about to graduate from high school, yet they're still storming the playground to bust little kids, and the town of Oakdale is sick to death of it.When a little girl sees their sign advertising "Mysteries Solved, Ten Cents," she asks the gang to find out who killed her parents. The Team embarks on a mystery that takes them deep into a violent conspiracy that sees their lives threatened, their friendship strained and tests their claim that they're "real detectives."

Treevenge
Monday, July 13 by

Director: Jason EisenerSynopsis: Treevenge is a short film detailing the experiences and horrifying reality of the lives of Christmas trees. Clearly, for trees, Christmas isn’t the exciting “peace on earth” that is experienced by most. After being hacked down, and shipped away from their homes, they quickly become strung up, screwed into an upright position for all to see, exposed in a humiliation of garish decorations. But this Christmas will be different, this Christmas the trees have had enough, this Christmas the trees will fight back. Treevenge could be a short film about the end of days for Christmas trees, or perhaps, the end of humanity?

Michael Ian Black Farts Like a Butterfly, Stings Like the Sharp Comickster He Is
Sunday, May 24 by

This clip has been farting around on for a little while now, but we thought we'd share it with you on this Memorial Day weekend, because for us, Memorial Day is not only about remembering our troops; it's also about commiting great flatulence scenes to memory.  This is one of those scenes. It's a clip from "Michael and Michael Have Issues," a new half-hour comedy series that airs in July, appropriately enough, on Comedy Central. The show stars Michael Ian Black and Michael Showalter, who most recently worked on Comedy Central's (sadly) short-lived "Stella" series alongside fellow ex-"The State" member David Wain, who's now off directing important "issue" films for big Hollywood studios, like Role Models.  As much as we're fans of Mr. Wain, we think Michael and Michael will be just fine without the f&*king turncoat.
